Melita has been working for The GEO Group in South Florida since 2005. Melita has worked in Administration, Programs, and PREA, and is one of the facility's new hires and in-service Instructors. She has been a traveling auditor for GEO's ICE and US Marshall facilities since 2015, the facility's SME PREA Investigator since 2015, and its Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) Investigator since 2013.
