Ashland Sheriff’s Department hit with sexual assault lawsuit

An Ashland County woman has filed a federal lawsuit naming Ashland County, Ashland County Sheriffs officers and Department of Corrections officials in connection with what she said were a series of sexual assaults that occurred while she was an inmate at the Ashland County Jail.
