County needs detailed

DEWITT — County officials on Saturday held the first of many planned educational forums with the hope of continuing to educate the public about the proposed law-center project.

The Clinton County Justice Coordinating Commission showed a video and a PowerPoint presentation to educate the people in attendance about why the new facility is needed for Clinton County. County Sheriff Rick Lincoln explained that one of the benefits the new facility would provide is additional options for where to place inmates based on their classification.
