Robin was employed by the New Mexico Corrections Department and has recently retired. During her tenue, she has served as the agency PREA Coordinator for over three years and has additionally served as the Warden Assistant and Grievance/Disciplinary Appeal Officer at Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility. Prior to employment with NMCD she was employed with the District Attorney's Office in Dona Ana County for over 18 years and has vast knowledge regarding investigations and prosecution of criminal cases, to include cases of sexual abuse. Robin is committed to do her part in ending sexual abuse within our prison system. Robin was certified as PREA auditor in March 2018, and has completed twelve audits as lead auditor to date.
Prior to retirement from a large state correctional agency, Wendy assisted with the development and implementation of PREA initiatives within its correctional facilities. In addition, she was responsible for advising and assisting facility PREA compliance staff to ensure compliance statewide, generally; and for 11 correctional facilities and a health center, specifically. Her assigned facilities comprised various security levels and included the state's reception facilities, female facility, reentry facility, mental health facility and a lockup. Wendy's experience includes assisting facilities to prepare for audits, serving as audit support staff with certified auditors since 2015 and conducting audits after certification in 2018. Following retirement, her experience has expanded to include jail and community confinement facilities. She is proud of this service and completion of 30 years of honorable active and reserve service in the US military. She looks forward to continuing to provide excellent service to assist with PREA compliance throughout the nation.
For the last 25 years I have served in leadership positions from Program Director to Regional Compliance Director. I serve as an agency expert in establishing and sustaining programmatic systems in new and existing programs. I am skilled in negotiation, operations management, management, technical writing, and policy analysis. Strong business development professional with a BS focused in Business Management.
As Compliance Consultant I provide oversight of CARF accreditation processes for 45 secure, residential and community confinement facilities in 16 states.
I serve my community as a CARF Surveyor, certified DOJ PREA Auditor and am available to provide audit preparedness services for residential programs, of all types.
Katrina is currently a Superintendent of a juvenile shelter. Previously she was a juvenile detention center Assistant Superintendent. Additionally, she was a detention supervisor in Henrico County, Virginia and was with the county for more than 20 years. She was the facility's trainer, specialized investigator, developed and implemented training, policies, procedures, and protocols related to PREA. Previously, she served as an adjunct criminal justice faculty with Bryant and Stratton College and has over 25 years’ experience working with at risk youth.
